This brief summarizes the findings of a report, “Target Population Profiles,” from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Supplemental Security Income Youth Recipient and Employment Transition Formative Research project. It highlights three groups of potential target populations among youth with disabilities for employment interventions and possible sources of data that could be used to identify these groups. It also reviews three methodological considerations for matching a target population to an intervention.
