This article describes the impacts for Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries’ cost, service use, quality of care, and patient experience of the first two years of the Comprehensive Primary Care (CPC) initiative. CPC was launched in October 2012 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services along with 39 other payers to improve primary care delivery.
