Katherine (Kate) D’Anello specializes in implementing and managing programs. She has extensive expertise in peer-to-peer learning, technical assistance, process improvement, and using data to improve program operations.

D’Anello manages large, complex projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Social Security Administration. Currently, she directs the operation of multiple learning systems for accountable care organizations, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality virtual learning events, in-person meetings, and dashboards to these organizations. She uses participant and client feedback to inform curriculum development and drive continuous quality improvement efforts across the project. In addition, she has served in numerous technical assistance roles on disability, quality measurement, and education projects, and she has overseen the execution of multiple national conferences for federal clients.

Before joining Mathematica in 2008, D’Anello held positions with Ruchman and Associates, Inc., and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She graduated from George Washington University with an M.P.A. in public-private policy and management and is a certified project management professional.
