The What Works Clearinghouse (WWC), an investment of the Institute of Education Sciences, recently released an updated version of its procedures and standards, now divided into two separate documents. During this free webinar, WWC staff described the changes introduced in the Version 4.0 Procedures and Standards Handbooks. The revisions include updated procedures, new and updated standards, and clarifications to existing procedures and standards. The most notable changes address regression discontinuity designs, studies with cluster-level assignment, and approaches to include subjects with missing baseline or outcome data. These changes are summarized in a short, nontechnical document.
