Mathematica Policy Research welcomes Andy Weiss as a vice president and director in the company's Surveys and Information Services Division. In this role, he will focus on business development for the rapidly changing data collection market. Weiss is a nationally recognized leader in data collection systems, operations, and survey methodology. He has a track record of bridging the gaps between technology, research methodology, and business development, and he brings a wealth of experience in the government, commercial, and nonprofit sectors.
Weiss has contributed more than two decades of research and innovation to his field. His work has been published in Survey Practice, Public Opinion Quarterly, and the American Journal of Epidemiology. He is an active member of the American Association of Public Opinion Research and serves on the board of the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics.
